Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

HUHA provides a safe haven and rehoming centre for injured, neglected and abused animals, where all animals are treated with respect and compassion, and promised a new life free of small cages, chains, boredom, ignorance and other forms of abuse. HUHA is constantly growing and has many animals in its care. Ideally animals are rehomed carefully back into loving families within the community, but for those with medical problems, emotional issues or maybe just nowhere else suitable to go, they will stay under the care of HUHA for the duration of their precious lives. Thousands of animals from around New Zealand every year need help. HUHA is just one organisation doing its best to meet an increasing need in the community. Through education and leading by example, HUHA hopes to make a difference. HUHA is established as a charitable entity to pursue the above mission.
