Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To continue to carry on at Hamilton or at such other place or places within New Zealand as the Board may from time to time determine a school or schools where girls and boys may obtain a sound education at all levels of education. To provide girls and boys attending the school with a sound education combined with the advantages of a corporate life within such school and inculcating them with ideals of service to the community at large and with high moral and ethical values based on and in accordance with sound Christian principles. To provide and maintain a permanent school chapel at the school and to provide and maintain for any other school hereafter established, maintained or carried on by the Board a suitable place of worship and cause to be held in that chapel and any other such places to worship, services in accordance with the teachings from time to time and for the time being of the Anglican church at such times as the Principal may direct with the concurrence of the Board.
