Entity Structure

Central Lakes Trust was set up as a result of the Power industry reforms in the late 1990's. The sale of the lines business resulted in funds being vested in the Trust to invest for returns in order to benefit the community in perpetuity. Central Lakes Direct Ltd is an investment vehicle only for the Trust. The balance of the assets, being generation assets, of the Central Electric Power Board remained in Pioneer Energy of which Central Lakes Trust is the sole shareholder.
