Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of New Zealand College of Midwives is to provide and promote health quality standards and education for New Zealand midwives and a midwifery voice for midwives and women. In order to maintain its woman-centred focus, the College works in partnership with women by encouraging consumer membership and involvement in the development and maintenance of the midwifery profession.
