Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

WWR's vision is all women & children living free from fear and violence. Our mission is to provide intervention, prevention and advocacy for all women and children experiencing domestic violence. WWR provides support information and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence. We walk alongside women and empower them to make safe decisions for their future. We will refer to other agencies as required and advocate with services. We provide women and their children with the option of a safe place to stay, and also support women and their children in the community. We operate a community and a 24 hour crisis telephone line.

Entity Structure

WWR operates under a governance board who employ a manger to oversea day to day operations. There is a team of seven paid staff ensuring comprehensive services are available to clients and around 20 dedicated volunteers who support the organisiation including filling the crucial role of answering the crisis-line outside of office hours.
