Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Our mission is to catalyse change in Aotearoa New Zealand’s housing system through research and innovation in collaboration with impact organisations so more Kiwis have access to healthy, affordable, secure homes, and a positive community to come home to. We provide services and support across the full housing sector focusing on net new affordable homes, community development and helping individuals to flourish.

Entity Structure

Home Foundation is the Parent Entity and is the 100% share holder of all entities in the group. Our head office is based in Christchurch however we offer services and support across Aotearoa. Each of the member entities are charitable companies constitutionally bound to Home Foundation's mission. Home Foundation Trustees appoint Directors to each member entity and provides guidance and support but does not control or direct entity operations.
