Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Cholmondeley Children's Centre offers short term respite care for whānau with children aged 3-12. Respite care can be accessed in times of whānau stress or crisis, or this can be a planned stay and allows for a greater focus on wellbeing for everyone.

Entity Structure

At the 2020 Annual General Meeting the members of Cholmondeley Children’s Centre Incorporated voted in favour of transitioning the operations of the Centre into a Charitable Trust structure. From the 1st July 2022, the effective date of transition all the current operations were transferred to Cholmondeley Children’s Centre Charitable Trust and the assets were transferred into Cholmondeley Holdings Charitable Trust.
