Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The nature of the Trust is to develop, programme, produce and market the New Zealand Festival, centred and staged in Wellington for the benefit of the citizens of New Zealand. In addition to the main festival event The New Zealand Festival Trust partners with Lexus New Zealand to present the Lexus Song Quest.

Entity Structure

The New Zealand Festival Trust is a Trust established by Deed of Trust dated 9 May 1985. Tāwhiri Limited manages the biennial festival event on behalf of the New Zealand Festival Trust.
