Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

The Pukaki Trust group's purpose is to advance the charitable purposes of the parent Trust. The Trust is set up for the purpose of educating individuals and the community about the numerous physical, mental and spiritual benefits of living a balanced yoga lifestyle and to support individuals and organisations that promote the practice of yoga, meditation and health and wellness. The entities in the group have been established to undertake particular activities to further those purposes.

Entity Structure

The group's parent entity, The Pukaki Trust, is a charitable trust that has a corporate trustee with 4 directors. The other members of the Charities Act group are companies wholly owned by the Trust that have been established to undertake particular activities - property ownership/management, forestry & wilding pine control, lavender farming & related activities, provision of accommodation, & prospective development of a yoga retreat centre - to further the charitable purposes of the Trust.
