Youth Arts New Zealand (YANZ) is a youth-led charitable trust that connects, showcases and develops the next generation of creative New Zealanders. Our vision is for an interconnected, resilient and equitable youth creative sector in Aotearoa. The primary purpose of YANZ is to establish equitable programmes and initiatives that enhance the lives of young New Zealanders through the creative arts.

Youth Arts New Zealand (YANZ) is a charitable trust governed by a Board of Trustees and comprised of a team of contractors and volunteers, led by the Chief Executive.
YANZ is a creative social enterprise, and strives to generate the majority of its revenue through trading services and attaining project funding.
Annual Returns are due within 6 months of a charity’s balance date (financial year-end), or a longer period if an extension has been granted.
This charity has been granted an exemption from filing an annual return for the year ending 31 March 2019 under section 43 of the Charities Act 2005.
