Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust was established to develop water transport services to Takapuna and Browns Bay and to facilitate better water access for the public and local communities to the Waitemata Harbour. The Trust later accepted an opportunity to be the promoter of a community sailing centre in Takapuna.

Entity Structure

The Trust's only asset at any point in time is cash; we have no fixed assets, plant or equipment, operating from volunteer facilities. The Trust has a policy of no debt and is funded from Government agencies, charities and volunteer services.
