Our solicitor, Ken McKenzie of RSM Law in Timaru in a letter of 2nd August approved the the conditions of closure had been completed within the trusts constitution as required. Please note that the 19ha property of the trust was donated to the Timaru District Council. Information regarding this can be obtained from TDC. Copies of these minutes and solicitors letter are available from me as former chairperson

To replace, develop, improve or enhance part of the historic Otipua wetland, Saltwater Creek, Timaru for: a) the benefit of the native flora and fauna environments; and b) for the recreational and educational use by the people of South Canterbury and visitors to the district.
