Charitable Purpose

1. The collection & preservation of records of settlement, development and the residents of the area known today as the Carterton District and formerly known as the Carterton Borough & Wairarapa South County 2. The collection & preservation of records & artefacts that bear any relationship to the settlement, development & residents of the area known as the Carterton District 3. To encourage residents of the Carterton District and descendants and relations of past residents of the district to participate in the collection of such records and to maintain an interest in the history of the district < refer Society Rules for further info >
