Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Friends of The Christchurch Botanic Gardens Inc (hereinafter called "Friends") is to provide and display representative plant collections from temperate sub-tropical and tropical world regions for public enjoyment, education, research and scientific advancement, to disseminate information to botanical institutions world wide through exchange of plants and other material and promote international co-operation in the conservation of rare and endangered species.
