Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

We are a team of women volunteers of various ages formed in 1985. We have lost our own babies and from that grief experience would like to offer empathy, psychological peer support, practical suggestions and information to other women, men and their families for during a miscarriage and afterwards along with subsequent pregnancies through our comprehensive 100 page website, ‘Understanding Miscarriage’ pamphlets distributed to hospitals, our facebook, Support-line and email. Entity Structure

We are a small organisation of 5 women who form an Executive Committee of Vonney Allan President, Kerry Lilburn Secretary, and Yasmin Foley Treasurer with Shannon Wilson and Julie Harvey as committee members. Vonney does the day to day administrative work and anything else that needs responding to and consults with the committee via meetings, phone conferences and email when required. report. Vonney is the only paid member of the group.
