To Manage Manfeild Park which is a local, regional and national event complex providing community recreation, event management activities (agricultural, cultural, rural and sporting and other leisure-time occupations provided in the interests of social welfare including provision of facilities at Public Halls, community centres, women's institutes and the provision and maintenance of goods and buildings to be used for the purpose of recreation or leisure time occupations and the provision of facilities for these purposes by organising any activity for the benefit of members of the public of the Manawatu District and the wider community of New Zealand.
