Charitable Purpose

The Centres mission statement is: "To nurture and empower our community of learners to belong, to believe, to discover, to grow" The Centre believes all ākonga/learners thrive in an environment of respectful, responsive, reciprocal relationships in which their mana is nurtured. It practices an authentic sense of whanaungatanga and belonging within the Centre and the community. It's commitment to primary care giving creates a strong holistic foundation for mahingātahi/partnerships where children's unique learning journeys are fostered. The philosophy overall is about relationships. Relationships between teachers, children, families and the environment. An important aspect of the Centre's philosophy also includes its relationship with the local community which plays a large part in the curriculum.
