Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Life Education is a children's charity. Our purpose is to help tamariki and rangatahi to make positive choices. We visit local schools and teach Life Education up to year 8. Life Education supports students to: - develop life skills - make healthy choices - gain knowledge about health and their bodies - develop self esteem and a positive understanding of themselves - develop strategies for relating to others.

Entity Structure

Life Education Trust North Shore is one of 33 similar Life Education community trusts spread throughout New Zealand. The Trust is aligned through their Trust Deed to Life Education Trust (NZ) which operates as a National Service Centre to the individual Community Trusts. LET (NZ) supports the Trusts with the development of their programme, educator training and resources. Life Education North Shore is governed by a group of volunteer Trustees that meet bi-monthly throughout the year.
