Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Is to assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and cultural activities and in particular provide financial and other assistance to the TSB Showplace, TSB Stadium and TSB Bowl of Brooklands for the public of Taranaki.

Entity Structure

There is a group of governing Trustees who manage the Trust in accordance with the Trust deed. The trust use to provide Ushers/ Door attendants/ Liaisons and run a Kandy Bar and also provided gate staff for the three day WOMAD festival. These functions now come under NPDC or TAFT. The Trust now manages investments funds and provides financial assistance predominantly to the TSB Showplace. On 11 July 2022 the Trust closed all accounts held and invested all funds into the Taranaki Foundation.
