Charitable Purpose

Action Education is New Zealand’s leading arts based youth development organisation, structured around the medium of spoken word poetry. Action Education's kaupapa is to strengthen identity and develop self-esteem through creative self-expression. They enable young people to express their authenticity while growing a vibrant community that supports them. They build a skilled community of people to work creatively with young people to facilitate positive youth development practice. Action Education provides workshop, programmes, training, mentoring and coaching. The above objectives shall be carried on wholly or principally within New Zealand.
