Charitable Purpose

To aid and relieve the conditions of polio survivors, disseminate current knowledge, inform health and disability professionals on the advances in research, establish specialist facilities to assess and treat Polio survivors; co-operate with any organisation that may be conducive to attaining its purposes; raise and employ funds for any of the purposes of the Society to do all things incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objects or any of them; do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposes.

Entity Structure

Board comprising President; Vice-President; Secretary; and such other elected Members as the Society shall decide. Only current financial Members of Polio NZ may be Board Members - a min. of 2, a max. of 6, in addition to the Officers. No less than half of Board shall have had Polio. How large the Board will be; Who shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer; elected term being AGM to AGM.
