Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust was established by Deed on the 22nd of July 1974 by the Settlor, William Eric George Finlayson, a Surveyor and Civil Engineer from Taieri Mouth. The income arising from the Trust Fund shall be applied in establishing and maintaining scholarships to be called the Siga Siga Scholarships which shall from time to time be granted to pupils and/or ex-pupils of the Otago Boy’s High School to enable further training at OBHS, or any university or institution in or out of New Zealand, for the purpose of “promotion and encouragement of education”.
