Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Trust will be to meet the needs of individuals exhibiting compulsive and/or behavioural problems and to assist individuals and their families in the community suffering from a range of psychiatric/psychological disorders and to provide other support and assistence consistent with the charitable purpose of the Trust. The Woodlands Trust currently assists individuals, families, extended whanau, communities and populations who experience gambling-related harm.

Woodlands Centre Charitable Trust Inc is an audited Charitable Trust registered with the Charities Commission (CC26382) and being first incorporated as a Charitable Trust on the 14th day of July 1999. The Board of Woodlands Trust consists of Mr Richard Wheeler (Chairperson); Dr Vicki Fowler (Secretary) and Mr Bernie Smulders (Treasurer). The Management structure including key personnel relevant to delivery of required services under our Ministry of Health contracting.
