Charitable Purpose

The Society encourages the study of Methodist origins and development in Aotearoa New Zealand, and of Methodist missionary activity in the Pacific. It supports the research, recording, preservation, presentation and publication of historical material, contributing to an informed understanding of the interactions between Māori, Pākehā, Pacific peoples and other communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
