Charitable Purpose
Under the auspices of the Anglican Church of New Zealand, The Methodist Church of New Zealand and the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, the parish is a visible expression of the body of Christ in a particular place. The OCP is interdenominational and is open to all who wish to worship in a Christian environment. THE OCP completed a Mission Action Plan in July 2019 which has sought congregational input. Our vision is to be community centered focusing on prayer, discipleship and outreach as one cooperating parish serving the rural landscapes of Okato and Oakura.
