Promote and provide and maintain recreational facilities in the Glenfield area, and more specifically in the Marlborough and McFetridge Parks, to improve facilities for a number of sports, hobbies and interests, including increasing community awareness and access to various sports and activities and to provide a facility of general use for community activities of the people of the Auckland area generally.
In particular, it provides facilities for the use of the Marlborough Park Tennis Club Incorporated, the North Shore Rockhound Club Incorporated and the Northern Rovers Football Club (Formerly known as the Glenfield Rovers Association Football Club & Sports Club Incorporated)
