To plan, establish, & oversee the functioning of a heritage & archival repository: to encourage the collection & preservation of historical material from, & promote the historical significance of, the Thames, Coromandel, Hauraki, & Ohinemuri areas: to provide the facilities to encourage investigation of family history: promote historical & archival research: & to provide educational & advisory assistance.
