Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The objects for which the society is established which objects are to be carried out in Marlborough are: 2.1 to serve the community by working for the effective reintegration of those who transgress the laws of New Zealand. 2.2 to give support and material aid to offenders and prisoners 2.3 to give support and relief to prisoners’ dependents 2.4 to give support and relief to those released from any penal institution 2.5 to accept and support the policy of the Department of Corrections in the collective, unified effort of reducing reoffending and fostering community support to create lasting change. 2.6 Generally to do all things reasonable and necessary for the purpose of the Society.

Entity Structure

Our committee structure consist's of a Patron, Executive committee, consisting of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary. General Committee members are paid-up members and also includes our paid worker and volunteer fieldworkers. Our committee meets monthly where, along with general business, financial and fieldworker report's are also presented.We have an annual general meeting for election of officers and presentation of financial reports.
