Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

We are community-based organisation that provides different services and programmes for growing needs within our community. Our first programme is our Oscar after-school and holiday programme (CYF approved). We have a social enterprise in the not for profit sector where we have a small sewing space based in Onehunga that helps us support our organisational goal for our children. Our sewing initiatives include a clothing-alteration service. We provide small gardening workshops and services and cooking workshops. We aim to help educate our community to minimize their waste in all aspects. Our main purpose is to try and create spaces and activities that are inter-generational and sustainable for everyone.

Entity Structure

Our organization has a trust board consisting of three main trustees and volunteers. We meet on fort-monthly occasions with a General Meeting Annually.
