Annual Returns are due within 6 months of a charity’s balance date (financial year-end), or a longer period if an extension has been granted.

Note: Charities that use the Tier 4 Combined Form to file their annual returns do not need to file their financial statements separately. The financial statements are included in their annual return summary.

The trustees agree, as a condition of registration, that the trust fund established at clause 4(b) will be given effect as if the following words did not appear at clause 4(a) and (b): "…but if at any time the income of the said fund shall prove insufficient to answer the said annuity I EMPOWER my Trustees to have recourse to the capital thereof to make up the deficiency PROVIDED ALWAYS if at any time my Trustees consider that the annuity hereby provided is insufficient for the proper maintenance of my said wife I EMPOWER my Trustees to have recourse to the capital of my residuary estate and make the said annuity up to such a sum as shall in the opinion of my Trustees be sufficient for such purpose (b) SUBJECT to such annuity …"
