Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

In addition to supporting and benefiting the community, museum and educational activities will be focused on the science, exploration, development and tourism use, of caves and karst landscapes throughout Waitomo Caves and the rest of New Zealand, alongside the social, natural and cultural histories, including mana whenua significance, of the Waitomo Caves area.
