Charitable Purpose

Strike Percussion Trust Aims and Objectives: a) To provide, promote and develop education, and educative resources, in the arts. b) To commission, promote and develop arts performances for as wide a range of people as possible in local forums. c) To commission, promote and develop the work of New Zealand artists, with an especial regard for educating, fostering and promoting new and youth talent. d) To identify and foster new and youth talent in arts disciplines, with an especial regard to the marginalised and underprivileged.

Entity Structure

Strike Percussion Ensemble is New Zealand's premier percussion ensemble. With an impressive resume in the youth and performing arts sectors Strike are renowned for their education work, having presented their highly popular schools shows to well over one million New Zealand students of all ages. Employing full and part time musicians, a part time Administrator, and a pro bono Manager, Strike undertake both philanthropic and commercial performances, and are governed by a Board of Trustees.
