Purpose & Structure


Charitable Purpose

The objectives and purpose for which the entity is established are: 1. To become reasonably efficient as to organisation, staffing, equipment, discipline and training as a Brigade and meet the requirements for protection of the District from fire and to be able to apply those skills and resources to assist at other types of emergency. 2. To become registered with the Commission as a volunteer fire brigade 3. To undertake fire safety activities, the suppression and extinction of fire, the protection of life and property and rendering of humanitarian assistance in accordance with the requirements of the Agreement of Service. 4. To promote the safety and welfare of its Members in the course of their duties within the Brigade.
