Charitable Purpose

Te Pihopatanga O Te Tai Tokerau has the responsibility for provision of ministry to those within tikanga Maori, and for the promotion of mission within that tikanga. The mission of the church includes: (a) proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, (b) teaching, baptising and nurturing believers within eucharistic communities of faith, (c) responding to human needs by loving service and (d) seeking to transform unjust structures of society, caring for God's creation, and establishing the values of the Kingdom.
