Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust is part of Cultural, spiritual well-being of Tuwhenu's (NZ) oldest surviving indigenous People/ Race and oldest Tribal Authority. Presently we have no paid staff. We are endeavoring to put back in place our heritage, culture, language, entity and much more for now & future generations. long term, working towards helping our selves & others by get training & help to out members of our unique Ethnic People. We where possible work for betterment of NZers by encouragement or support. There are so few of our Race/People an indigenous ethnic group in our own right, Recognized by NZ govt & Crown in May 2002.

Also: Runs: project Tutanga (origin) Where possible we try to stick to the Customs & protocols of our Ancestors. we have the oldest surviving laws & language in this country. This is also reflected in our Trust's name in English means: Sacred new beginnings.Our people are spread right throughout Tuwhenu (NZ,) Australia & the world. We are the People the Maori came here called as Moriori & the Old People
