Charitable Purpose
a) To grow community participation in sport & recreation activities for our community, including member organisations, residents of Hamilton & the Waikato region, & visitors to our facilities; b) To support member organisations to collaborate toward increased relevance, quality, connectivity, & sustainability of sport & recreation spaces; c) Where required, to assist in the development of new spaces or manage the redevelopment of existing spaces that support purposes a & b; d) To provide a framework to assist member organisations to grow their participation levels & provide quality experiences to their members; e) To support collaborative approaches between member organisations & partners who support our vision; f) To seek funding, manage services, & carryout business & social enterprise in keeping with purposes a – d; g) Add value by developing new events, programmes, activities, services, & opportunities to increase the quality of participation in sport & recreation in our community
