Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Rivercity Assembly of God is to: * Spiritual-encourage the worship and faith in God by providing spiritual teaching, training, preaching and prayer meetings to the church members, ethnic groups and the community. . Socially and Relationally-to connect and network with other ethnic groups, other church denominations and agencies on how to support and help individuals and families through counselling, fellowship, prayer. To connect with the neighbourhood committee by occasionally providing meal on some last Sunday of the month. We hope to continue to do this community network monthly. The church has also been a registered agency with the Corrections Department in Wanganui to supervise people to do their community work hours.
