Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Kapiti Amateur Radio Society Inc exists to foster the amateur radio service in the Kapiti district. It is a branch of the national association, the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters Inc. The Society also has the objective to co-operate with The Kapiti Coast District Council, the Wellington Regional Council, New Zealand Police and to support those and other community organisations or groups having an interest in community service, whether of an emergency nature or not, where the expertise of the Society’s members may be of value.
