Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

1. To promote education and culture amongst members of the Chinese community in New Zealand and maintain, preserve Chinese culture, assimilate New Zealand culture, and promote cultural exchange activities in New Zealand. 2. To assist new immigrants from China to settle in New Zealand and to adapt to the New Zealand way of life and help the middle-aged and older immigrants can encourage helping each other so as to increase their experiences and enrich their life. 3. refer to the CAR for more.

Entity Structure

Based at the Panmure Community Hall, our organization has about 300 members. We currently have 7 executive positions: Director, Vice-Director, Secretary, Committee of Middle-aged and old Peoples’ Activity Department, Committee of community Services Department, Committee of Voluntary Work Organization Department and Committee of Community Education Department.
