Charitable Purpose
Maunu School PTA aims to facilitate cooperation between the school, home and community, to provide means for keeping parents and residents informed in regards to the aims and activities of the school and education in general. To cooperate with the teachers and the Board of Trustees of Maunu School in ensuring the best possible provision for maintaining the educational environment of the children. To assist in securing the provision of modern resources and equipment for the school and raise the necessary funds to donate to the Maunu School for the betterment of the school.

Entity Structure
Members of the Maunu School PTA elect an executive committee which includes a Chair or Co-Chairs (when the need arises), a Treasurer, and Secretary. The Maunu School Principal also holds a position as well as a Teaching Staff Representative. No one is employed by the Maunu School PTA and all elected positions are on a volunteer basis. The PTA meet once per month during the school year on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Maunu School Staffroom.
