The work of the charity has predominantly been overseas in Asia making any charitable donations ineligible for tax rebates. It was envisaged previously that charitable work would be undertaken in New Zealand alongside the international work. Circumstances have now changed with regards to those doing the work of Earthcare and current and future work of the Earthcare Foundation will continue to be in Asia. This decision has been approved by all Trustees, please see the attached minute recording for our decision.
