Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The primary objective of the Trust was to provide Air Ambulance services to the Greater Manawatu Region. In previous years the Trust held a contract with Mid Central Health to provide these services. This contract was terminated in December 2014. The Trust effectively ceased trading in December 2014.

Entity Structure

The Trust comprises a Board of five Trustees who oversee the governance of the Trust. The Trustees include a Chairperson (P Grey) who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Trust and reporting to the Trust, and 3 other Ordinary Trustees (S P Lange, W M Furnell and S M Richardson) who are appointed by the Board.
