Te Rangimarie Marae whakanui manaakitanga, whakawhanaungatanga, rangatiratanga, Te Reo Māori me te miti o Rangitāne ki te whānau, me tā mātau manuhiri. The trust's purpose is to hold, manage and maintain the marae, urupā and associated lands for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Wiremu Kingi Te Awe Awe (2) and Manawaroa Te Awe Awe.
