Charitable Purpose

The Wekaweka Valley Community Trust was set up by local people concerned about employment, the environment and recycling. With voluntary efforts and funding, the Trust has been able to employ local people in the Waimamaku Resource Centre, for the Wekaweka Landcare Group in pest control work and weed control.
