Takaka Citizens' Band is a member of the NZ Brass bands of NZ and is also affiliated to the Nelson Marlborough West Coast Brass Bands Association. It has a management committee of: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Drum Major, Sergeant, and Lance Corpral with up to four additional members.
