Charitable Purpose

Secure the long-term protection and enhancement of Te Arai Beach and Mangawhai forest surrounds, further called the area: 1 As a place of recreation, beauty and tranquillity for the people of Rodney and visitors to this unique area 2 Protection of a sensitive coastal ecosystem which provides habitat to a range of threatened species including but not limited to the Northern New Zealand dotterel and the critically endangered New Zealand Fairy Tern
