Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of The Wellington Youth Choir is to perform choral music by preparation for and presentation of recitals, concerts, performances and other appearances and, in doing so, to provide (in particular but not exclusively) opportunities for choral singing for young people between the ages of 17 and 27 years, usually resident in the greater Wellington area. The Wellington Youth Choir is committed to inspiring expression through musical collaboration, enriching the lives of members and the many communities impacted as a result of member engagement.
