Charitable Purpose

The Wellington Judo Academy has the following aims and objectives: - To conduct the affairs of Judo in accordance with the rules and regulations of the International Judo Federation - To promote the sport of Judo in the Wellington area to the primary benefit of both present and future amateur participants - To develop the techniques and spirit of Judo amongst its members - To promote cordial and friendly relations between other clubs. Including wherever and whenever possible or practicable to offer such other clubs help in the form of personnel, equipment, loan, hire or lease, administration or finance as is deemed necessary or desirable - To establish such funds and accumulate such properties and equipment as are deemed desirable for the progress of amateur Judo in Wellington - To keep and preserve such records likely to prove of interest or of value to the members, past, present and future.
