Shakti Community Council Inc. is approved by the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Justice as a national umbrella organisation that provides culturally specialist intervention and prevention services around family violence. Operating on an end-to-end service model, our activities starts with crisis intervention support through our 24/7 national toll-free crisisline 0800SHAKTI, servicing over 10,000 calls per annum.
