1. Promote, foster, develop and encourage participation in all aspects of traditional Maori Performing Arts and associated Maori Cultural art forms, at Secondary Schools level, but in particular KAPA HAKA;

Entity Structure

Kapa Haka Kura Tuarua is the governing body that supports regional and national secondary school kapa haka. The National Committee consists of members (teacher /school (kura) delegates that are representatives of Regional Areas that form the collective of Aotearoa (New Zealand). The National Committee has a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer elected from its members (delegates).
